Don’t Save The Dress

We wait all of our lives for “someday” – and in doing so, we miss many of the most wonderful opportunities.  We save our favorite dress for a very special occasion.  And so, it sits in our closet.  Never worn. Price tag still on.  We rattle off a slew of excuses and crazy reasons. “I just need to lose 5 pounds.”  “It’s raining and I don’t want to ruin it.”

One day, it doesn’t fit any more.  It’s little too tight.  Or loose.  Not quite the fashion statement we want to make any more.

News flash:  Someday is today.  Wear the dress.  Often.  Enjoy it.  And when it wears out – buy a new one.
